In this missing person notice, who would you choose to travel with in <Bridge 1988>?
about field
"Daqiao Town" is the name of the administrative district during the Japanese colonial period. It is now located in the area north of Taipei Bridge. There are many old-fashioned one-story houses left over from the Qing Dynasty and even the winding alleys surrounded by houses. Just like back then. Despite the rapid development of the big city, the Ohashi community still lives slowly and slowly in that old time.
Walk out of the current MRT Daqiaotou Station, walk along the busy Taipei Bridge, and walk all the way to the parking lot under the bridge. It is hard to imagine that 50 years ago, there were two-story teahouses, snack bars, and a vegetable market under the Taipei Bridge, which was also a labor market. The distribution center was under construction in Taipei at that time. Many single young adults from the south, or middle-aged unemployed men would wait here for heavy physical work to increase some income for themselves or their families.
In those days, Daqiao Town, which is now the area around Section 2 of Dihua Street, was actually more lively than the well-known Dadaocheng neighborhood. There were all kinds of snack bars, dance halls, karaoke halls, and teahouses nearby. It is also a place for local residents, temporary workers from all over the world, big bosses and various forces to have fun and entertainment, adding a lot of "color" to the simple Ohashi Town.
The story of "Bridge 1988" begins with a missing person notice, and the audience will wander between the real street scene and the illusory old past.
Through the soundscape in the earphones and the guidance of the APP, the audience will walk through the entire play in the Ohashi-cho neighborhood. In addition to experiencing the new theater mode, they can also follow Yafen, Ahong, Zhengxiong, Xiaocai and others in the story. Take a glimpse of the unique life in Ohashi Town in 1988. What will be the love, hatred and life mood of these little people in the community who are facing social and economic ups and downs?
Combined with the application of reality theater and community guide APP, the Ohashi Town community is used as the theater stage. Through drama performances and guides, participants can see different community scenes and stories together, and walk into those alleys that have never stopped Do, see the past and present, and then, participate in the future together.
